Thank you all for continuing to support TBA's work with Teenfeed to make sure University District Youth continue to receive hot meals despite the obstacles of COVID-19. Last month 80 beef and bean burrito meals were provided to our University District youth through Teenfeed and ROOTS shelter. We received many thanks from the diners and Teenfeed staff who let us know that due to a decline in many groups' abilities to continue to contribute at pre-COVID-19 levels, the diners have had less robust meals and many now served cold. Our hot burritos brought them back for seconds and thirds. See below some photos of the meals made possible by you.
As King County remains in Phase 1, we hope that you will be able to continue to support our goal to serve 80 hot meals on our June dinner night. In observance of distancing guidelines and to take precautions for both our volunteers and diners: We are again requesting food donations only for the month of May.
